1.     VS 2:2:   Sensuality

2.     VS 2:3:   Greed (profit motive)

3.     VS 2:10:  Indulge the flesh

4.     VS 2:10:  Despise authority (no accountability for them)

5.     VS 2:10:  Daring (speak out boldly their fallacious and heretical teachings)

6.     VS 2:10:  Self-willed

7.     VS 2:10:  Revile angelic majesties

8.     VS 2:14:  Eyes full of adultery (probably spiritual adultery toward God)

9.     VS 2:14:  Never cease from sin

10. VS 2:14:  Entice unstable souls (those new or weak in the faith)

11. VS 2:14:  A heart trained in greed (a profit motive:  you can always follow a money trail)

12. VS 2:14:  Accursed children (destined for hell)

13. VS 2:15:  Follow the way of Balaam, the son of Beor, who loved the ‘wages of unrighteousness’ (financial gain for doing wrong)

14. VS 2:17:  Springs without water (unable to bring refreshing)

15. VS 2:17:  Mists driven by a storm (clouds during drought that are blown away before any rain falls)

16. VS 2:18:  Speak out arrogant words of vanity (‘useless stuff’ in their loud and boisterous teaching and preaching)

17. VS 2:18:  Entice by fleshly desires and sensuality those who barely escape from the ones who live in error (tell people what they want to hear:  prosperity gospel, how to get rich serving God, that you yourself are a “little god,” etc.)

18. VS 2:19:  Promise freedom to their followers but are enslaved by sin themselves

19. VS 2:22:  They are like dogs that return to eat their own vomit (after being confronted about their error, they continue in it)

20. VS 2:22:  They are like pigs who because of their nature, after being washed up, they eventually end up back wallowing in the mud
